The Keweenaw

The Keweenaw Condo is located in downtown Houghton, Michigan on the Portage Canal, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and shopping.

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is a favorite vacation spot for several reasons; beauty, history, clean air and water. The Keweenaw Peninsula has all of this and wonderful waterfalls in the spring, magnificent colors in the fall, and an average of 180 inches of snow each winter.

Area attractions and activities include; the Keweenaw National Historical Park, two downhill ski areas for skiing and snowboarding, many groomed cross country ski trails, snow shoeing, and miles of great snowmobile trails. In the warmer months enjoy the beautiful sand beaches along Lake Superior, boating on the Portage Canal and the adjoining lakes, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking.
